color pop tote

The Purl Bee's Everyday Tote. A relatively quick project with a very satisfying, modern result. I did find the mitered corners on the pocket a bit fussy but I don't have any experience quilting, which I think would have helped. The color accent is an upcycled piece from an infant sling that I am no longer using. I made the handles by cutting two 4" by 24" pieces of the main body fabric and folding the long sides in twice. Then I topstitched them on both sides using the neon thread.
